"STAY AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE. If I could give negative stars, trust me I would. DO NOT use this insurance agent. Over the last 30 PLUS day (yes OVER 30 days) since my husband filed his claim for hitting a deer, this has been the most outrageous experience I have ever had. From the beginning, Dean R. could not provide the paperwork to the correct address, after he was told (and Amy in claims) several times the correct address. Due to this, they lost our car title completely, and instructed us to restart the process by notarizing more paperwork and providing a brand new title. We were told that this was our responsibility, even though we were not the ones who lost the Notarized paperwork. Due to this I have had to drive all over Des Moines and Newton to fix their mistake. While I was in the office, (again attempting to close the claim) I could hear Gena N. (office manager) making a phone call to another customer and stated that Dean would not be in the office that day. Which obviously took me by surprise as I was meeting him at the office within the next ten minutes. When I informed Dean about this, he inappropriately called Gina and asked her if she said this. To which she of course stated she did not. Further showing that they have no issues communicating false information with their “valued customers”. When I brought up that phone calls are recorded, Dean asked me if someone told me that information. To which I replied was not his concern how I am aware of the information. Please, whatever you do do not use this insurance agent. You will be lied to, be forced to make up for their mistakes, and make sure to hold off on purchasing a new vehicle because you will not be getting your money anytime soon. The only positive note that I have about this is that their receptionist that I talked to for approximately 10 seconds was very kind and she stated she has only been working with Dean for a few days. Thank you for reading, and if you happen to be in the same position, (hopefully now making your way to a different agent) I wish you the best success and a positive outcome with no stress. Attached is a photo of my husbands car, as I have no issues communicating a clear and honest review."
